"Just Because"

Yesterday Jeff brought me these... 

Just Because he "loves me and knows gerber daisies are my favorite."

And yesterday Jeff bought Hazyl this...

Just Because he thought "she would look cute in it!"

He is the sweetest guy ever! He is going to be the best Daddy and I am so excited to watch him with her. He just better watch out cause if she is anything like her Mommy, "she will look cute" in so many pairs of shoes and Daddy will go broke! Love you Jeff!

22 weeks

Last week we got to have another ultra sound to check all of Hazyl's parts and pieces. It was so fun to see her move and squirm. The ultra sound went great and the Dr. said she is a healthy little girl.  She weighs 15 oz right now but I know there is a lot more to come. Here are some pics from the Ultra sound below.

We cannot wait for her to be here even though we still have a while. Her nursery is underway but I recently just changed my mind about it and am going in a totally different direction than what I was originally planning to do. It is gonna be SO cute and I will post pics as soon as it is done.

GIRL!

We are so excited! Jeff and I decided to go to Fetal Studio the other day since we both had the day off and had nothing better to do :). We are so happy to be having a baby girl even though we would have been happy with either of course. Knowing that she is a she makes it seem so much more real and so much more fun! I can wait to start the nursery and start buying cute pink things! But I am a little nervous to dress her cause I was never good at dressing barbies as a little girl! I am sure I will get the hang of it, hopefully! Below are some of the pics from the ultrasound.

We have already chosen a name for her..... Hazyl Mae Franco. I love it and cant wait for February to come so we can meet her! Hazyl will be the 12th granddaughter and the 17th grandchild on the Carter side and will be joining these cute kids below.

She will also be the 2nd granddaughter and the 4th grandchild on the Franco side along with these cute kids below.

I am feeling pretty good, just getting chubby! All in all we really couldn't be happier and cant wait to have our little Hazyl Mae in February!

Guess What?

We are going to have a baby! Crazy huh!?! We are SO SO SO excited. We are due in the beginning of February so we are still really early but we couldn't keep it a secret anymore. We got to see and hear the heartbeat yesterday and it was the craziest thing ever, it has made it feel much more real. I feel totally fine, just a little nauseous and tired, but it actually makes me a little nervous because I am not really sick. I hope I am just one of those lucky ones that doesn't get sick but I am sure it will come sooner or later. Below is a picture of the little bug! It is still kinda crazy for me to think about but we couldn't be happier!

One WICKED Night!

My parents took the whole fam (minus the Delahunty's cause they are in Cali, we missed you!) to Wicked for all of our Birthdays this year. It was super fun! We went to PF Changs before and then headed to the show! My Dad insisted that we all wear green to get in the spirit if you are wondering why we are all matching. It was so good, and I have had the music stuck in my head since we went but its ok cause I LOVE it!

My nieces Lainey, Addison, and Raegan. They were the only 3 out of 15 who live in utah and were old enough to go. They looked so cute, they had matching shoes and toenails too.

The whole Carter fam (minus my sister Whitney and fam). Me, Jeff, David, Devanie, Mom, Haylee (neighbor girl), Addison, Raegan, Lainey, Monica, Mark, Kate, Mac (brother and sister in-law, I didn't have a pic of them above), Chelsea, Matt, Dad. Yeah we are totally dorks, but it sure was a fun night!

Cancun with the Franco's

We got back from Cancun (aka Heaven on Earth) last week and we had so much fun. We went with Jeff's Mom and Dad and stayed for a week. It was so hard to come home! The trip was much needed and SO relaxing. We laid on the beach from 9-4 everyday, drank pina coladas and then went to dinner at night. It may sound boring but it was perfect! If you need a vacation I highly recommend it and we would be happy to go back with you!

Cancun has the most amazing water and beach! I don't think you can find that color of water anywhere else!
